How to delete your Epocra account, and what happens to your data when you do.
Your account closes immediately: your Epocra phone number is released and you are signed out on every device. 30 days later we permanently erase your calls, recordings, transcripts, voicemails, contacts, AI summaries and settings. If you created a voiceprint, it is erased immediately. You do not need to do anything else.
Email info@epocra.com from the address on the account, with the subject Erase my data, and include the Epocra phone number so we can identify the account. If the account is already deleted we erase it at our next daily run instead of waiting for the 30 days. If you can't sign in, we delete the account for you and the same erasure follows.
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Call recordings, transcripts, summaries and action items | Deleted |
| Voicemail and voicemail transcripts | Deleted |
| Voice notes and meeting recordings | Deleted |
| Contacts synced from your phone | Deleted |
| Account details: name, email address, phone numbers, login credentials | Deleted |
| Device identifiers and push notification tokens | Deleted |
| Voiceprint, if Voice Identification was ever enabled | Deleted immediately when you delete the account |
After erasure we keep only the records we need for legal, financial and fraud-prevention reasons. None of them contain your calls, recordings, transcripts or contacts.
If an account is under review for fraud or abuse, or is the subject of a payment dispute, erasure waits until that is resolved.
Deleting the account releases the Epocra phone number. Once released the number can be reassigned, and calls to it will no longer reach you.
