Set up Epocra
in three easy steps
Install the app, find your Epocra number, then point your existing number at it. About five minutes start to finish — and you keep the number you have always had. Nothing here is permanent.
Install the app
Sign in with the account you created at signup. Your Epocra number is waiting inside — you need it for step 3.

You dial it as part of the code in step 3, so have it in front of you. It is in two places.
Tap the gear icon
It sits in the top corner of every tab and opens Settings straight away. Your Epocra number is the first thing on the screen, in the purple box at the top.

Subject “Welcome to Epocra”. The number is near the top, in the purple box.
Turn forwarding on
Dial from the phone you want forwarded. The code and your Epocra number are one string — dial the code, then the number, then press call, exactly as shown.
Verizon
Dial the code, then your Epocra number, then press call.
T-Mobile
Dial the code, your number, then the hash, then press call.
AT&T
Dial the code, your number, then the hash. Wait for the confirmation tone.
On another carrier? Most US networks — including Mint, Cricket and Google Fi — use the same GSM codes as T-Mobile and AT&T: **21* your number # to turn it on.
What forwarding actually changes
Every incoming call goes to Epocra, so your own dialler stops ringing and your carrier voicemail stops taking messages — Epocra answers both instead. Outgoing calls are not affected at all. Nothing is permanent: one code puts it all back. If you ever close your Epocra account, turn forwarding off first — your Epocra number is released when the account closes, and calls still pointing at it will not reach you.

Yes — but only for calls you make. Dial from the app and the call is recorded, transcribed and summarised from the very first one, with nothing to set up.
Forwarding is what brings the other direction in. Without it, calls people make to your existing number keep ringing your normal dialler and Epocra never sees them.
Your own mobile number — the one you verified when you signed up. Not your Epocra number, and not a number they would not recognise.
As far as anyone on the other end is concerned, nothing about you has changed.
Yes. Any desk phone or softphone that speaks SIP can register to Epocra directly. Open Settings in the app and scroll to SIP Credentials — there is a username, a password (tap the row to reveal it) and a server address. Put those three into the phone and it is done.
Calls made and taken on that phone run through Epocra exactly as they do in the app — recorded, transcribed and summarised the same way.
Call your own number from another phone. It should ring in the Epocra app instead of your normal dialler. If it rings the way it always has, the code did not take — check you dialled the code and your Epocra number as one unbroken string.
